I first straightened my daughter’s hair lightly with a flat iron, just so that it complements the waterfall effect of the hairdo (this step is optional). If you are like me, it so easy to purchase a $0.99 small plastic basket from the dollar store and use it as a central dump for all my girls’ barrettes, headbands, and hairbows.
